Moist Master TOP is a new material designed to cover and protect wounds. It integrates an auxiliary dressing and is applied to the wound surface. The integrated auxiliary dressing can adjust its absorption capacity as needed, making it capable of handling a larger amount of exudate compared to previously available materials.

Uses

The product is made from non-woven fabric, designed to cover and protect acute wounds and surgical wounds.

Instructions for use

Step 1: Clean the wound area using saline solution, clean water, or an appropriate antiseptic solution. If an antiseptic solution is used, ensure it is completely removed by rinsing again with saline solution or clean water.

Step 2: Remove the product from its packaging, cut it to the desired size and shape, and fix it onto healthy skin surrounding the wound.

Step 3: Peel off the protective paper and attach the adhesive side to the auxiliary dressing prepared separately. Choose the auxiliary dressing based on the amount of wound exudate. If the product does not adhere well to the auxiliary dressing, secure it with surgical tape around the edges.

Step 4: Place the product's surface, combined with the auxiliary dressing, in contact with the wound and secure it according to the specific type of auxiliary dressing used.

Step 5: When removing the product for replacement, do so gently from the edges to avoid disrupting the wound. If bleeding occurs during removal or if the wound is fragile with insufficient exudate, use a syringe to apply saline solution or clean water or place saline-soaked gauze between the product and the wound to ease removal.

Step 6: The product should be used until the exudate seeps through the auxiliary dressing. However, it is recommended that it be replaced as soon as possible (at least once daily).

Precautions

The adhesive side of the product is only for use in combination with the auxiliary dressing and must not be applied directly to the wound or skin.
Use the product immediately after opening the packaging.
If any abnormalities such as discoloration or peeling are detected during storage, discontinue use immediately.
